Great Wolf Lodge
Review from Ella, Age 9
We went to the Great Wolf Lodge last weekend to check out Shadow Quest. Shadow Quest is a a game where you basically have to do a magical scavenger hunt. You wave your magic wands at things all over the walls and they do different things like talk or light up or give you gold. Shadow Quest is a little different than Magic Quest because there is a fairy named Lumina instead of a wizard telling you what to do. The one thing would change about Shadow Quest is they should give Lumina a better voice because it sounds a little fake. I liked Shadow Quest but I liked going on the water slides the most! I liked the Howling tornado the best because it’s not TOO scary but it is kind of scary at the same time. It goes almost STRAIGHT down for half of the water-slide in the dark and then it takes you into a big whirlpool. For me the scariest part was going down backwards. I also really like the River Canyon one because there is music and flashing lights and it is like a disco. Also, you can put your whole family on the float, even my little brother who is four. I also recommend that you go on the lily-pad challenge. I also think you should go on the Howling Tornado, even if it looks scary! It’s worth going to the Great Wolf Lodge even though it’s a kind of long car ride to get there. You should probably bring something with you to make in the car ride.
