Celebrate With Dad This Weekend
This Sunday is Father’s Day and there are tons of fun ways to get out and have some fun with him. Dads can eat strawberries, drink beer, take a cruise, head to the mountains or check out the Pride Parade in downtown Portland. Here’s the where and when:

Local strawberries are here and Kruger’s has fields of them for picking. Head out to the farm on Father’s Day weekend, for the Berry Jam Festival where families can enjoy hayrides, kids’ jam making, face painting, live music, strawberry shortcake, and plenty of strawberries to pick and eat.
Berries, Brews and BBQ’s at French Prairie Gardens

Dad will love sampling some of Oregon craft brewers’ best brews. And check out the amateur BBQ competition where any one is welcome to compete in three categories daily: Chicken Wings, Tri-tip, and Baby Back Pork Ribs. Bring the whole family out to enjoy a fun family-friendly festival with free admission and free parking. Also check out the hayrides, slides, the new animal barns and more.
