Music with Mr. Hoo at Two Sisters Cafe

Mr. Hoo brings his fun, acoustic rock for families to Two Sisters Play Cafe every second Friday of the month. Mr. Hoo will play and rock out while the kids play and rock out! Donations welcomed.

Saturday, January 11th @ 9am-4pm

Northeast Swap & Play Grand Opening

Please join NE Swap & Play for their Grand Opening! They’re open all day for free play, and features special musical performances at 10am and 3pm, free face painting, free yogurt breakfast bar, and a free raffle for a 3-month membership!

Their play area will be filled with fun toys and activities, like an extensive building corner, dedicated baby play space, dramatic play area, climbing structures, ride-on and push toys, and lots more! There is also a “swap shop”, where families can take or leave gently used kids’ items like books, toys, and gear.

Studio Ghibli: Ponyo @ OMSI

Enjoy an animated film full of pure unbridled imagination and visual wonder on the largest screen in Portland. The tender love, humor, and devotion exhibited by Ponyo and Sosuke form the emotional heart of the film.

Perfect for audiences of all ages, Ponyo centers on the friendship between five-year-old Sosuke and a magical goldfish named Ponyo, the young daughter of a sorcerer father and a sea-goddess mother. After a chance encounter, Ponyo yearns to become a human so she can be with Sosuke.

This film is part of OMSI’s Fifth Annual Studio Ghibli Film Retrospective – 18 brilliantly animated Ghibli films over 18 days.
