Friday, August 23rd 5-10pm
Hot Air Balloon Night Glow @ Northwest Art & Air Show
Watch hot air balloons light up the night sky! There will be music all evening, food booths, art vendors, beer garden, and a Family Zone!
5-6:30 p.m.- Collective Nation; Modern Dance Hits!
7:30- Eagle Eyes; Eagles Tribute Band
Dusk- Hot Air Balloon Night Glow
Attendance is FREE. Parking is $10.

Kids Obstacle Challenge @ Sherwood Forest Equestrian Center
Kids Obstacle Challenge is an adventure and obstacle course race series for kids ages 5-16, with 13-15 fun and challenging obstacles and mud! Their mission is to inspire and challenge kids, and forge family bonds, through obstacles and adventure. $54

Hawthorne Street Fair on SE Hawthorne Blvd
Don’t miss the 36th Annual Hawthorne Street Fair. You’ll encounter a variety of activities, events and booths on each street. Your family will enjoy live music, raffles, face painting, balloon animals, circus cascadia workshop, sidewalk sale, crafts, chalk drawing, lorna miller little kids’ jamboree, Mr. ben music for kids, Penny’s Puppets Puppet Show, Olive & Dingo Storytelling & Clowning, juggling, hula hooping, and mask-making for all ages. Visit the Echo Theater open house where you can try out the trapezes and tumbling area. Watch for the stilt-walkers circulating the fair all afternoon.
