Sci Fi Film Fest @ Empirical Theater OMSI
OMSI’s fifth annual Sci-fi Film Fest is back!
Experience futuristic dystopias, sinister artificial intelligence, and riveting alien adventures with over 25 of science fiction’s most memorable films. This year’s line-up includes classics like Blade Runner, The Matrix, and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial as well as new favorites like Inception and Interstellar, all on the largest screen in Portland.

Art in the Burbs @ Tualatin High School
Enjoy original works from over 72 juried artists’, all available for sale. You will find jewelry, ceramics, exterior art, cards, textiles and more. Delicious food trucks, live musical entertainment and a student art gallery will also be at the show.
Since 2007, the show has raised $262,271 for music, literature, visual and performing arts in the Tigard Tualatin School District. The non-profit program raises funds through a 20% commission on all sales during the 2-day arts event. Event proceeds programs in all schools (elementary, middle and high school). Grants are awarded to each school to use exclusively for Arts programs, including music, fine art, performing art, and writing.

Troll Two Three Four @ SunnyLove | A Child’s Creative Space
This is an exciting special workshop!
Your child will get to make their very own “troll”, based on a special story! Then get to decorate a planting pot while learning about grey scale painting and some artists using this practice. Next plant a “home” for their troll utilizing live plants, and finally put it’s troll in its’ home!
This workshop will introduce concepts of functional art and that of aesthetics in their everyday environment!
10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM – All ages welcome at all sessions!
$35 per child
