In this issue, we focus on 2020 Portland Summer Camps and COVID-19 Tips & Support. While spring is here, it is certainly not what we in Portland, the nation and across the world would have anticipated. We are all doing our best to adhere to changing circumstances and mandates while keeping our kids, families, communities and ourselves safe. Here at NW Kids we are watching many of our beloved advertising partners try to weather the storm. With canceled or postponed events, classes, performances, etc., we are trying to explore creative ways to safely continue being the resource that we have been to local families for so many years. We truly feel that we will get through this together as we always do in Portland – as a community. May you and yours remain safe and secure during this unprecedented time in our lives. We look forward to seeing you around town just as soon as the seas settle. In the meantime, please keep an eye on our website and social media (as well as those of our partners) for the most up to date information, as things are rapidly changing at this time. Our Summer Camp Expo will move to online and print, so be on the lookout. Also checkout our weekly Family Activity Ideas to keep your kids and family active during these unprecedented times. Starting April 1st we will open nominations for Portland’s Best Summer Camps, sponsored by Trackers. Check out the 2019 winners here! We’re sure once life returns to normal, the kids will find a 2020 Portland Summer Camp that’s right for them!

With Gratitude and Hope,

Mary
