Camas First Friday Art Walk
Head to Camas for another one of their fabulous First Friday events. This weekend is full of exciting stuff, including a Pumpkin Pageant (vote for your favorite pumpkin carving), a Star Wars costume contest (for the big and little people), art shows, live music, fall kids’ crafts, and a ribbon cutting and open house celebration for the new Georgia Pacific Mill Lobby Interpretive Center. Widmer Bros. Oktoberfest
Nothing says October like an Oktoberfest. Get the gang together and head out to Pioneer Square for some afternoon entertainment at Portland’s oldest and biggest Oktoberfest celebration. Yum, yum! Another awesome thing about fall? It’s apple and pear season! Get on over to Portland Nursery to taste as many as you can. Pumpkin Hunting
Take a Sunday ride down to Baggenstos Farms to celebrate fall and find your perfect pumpkin! The farm is open 7 days a week this month, but on weekends they open the kitchen to offer hand-cut french fries, German sausages, freshly popped kettle corn, and more.
