If you’ve been looking for the right time to head to the beach, this weekend is probably it. With temperatures in the 70’s and 80’s, is there a better way to spend an afternoon than with your toes in the sand and some kites flying over head? Introducing: The Amazing Acro-Cats! Trained by Samantha Martin with only positive-reinforcement clicker training, this adorable troupe of multi-talented rescues is sure to dazzle you. Hosted by the American Cancer Society, Bark for Life is a non-competitive walking event for dogs and their owners to raise money and awareness for the fight against cancer. The Royal Rosarians Milk Carton Boat Race

Down at the Westmoreland Casting Pond, adults and kids alike will be gathering to showcase their hand-made, human-powered recycled milk carton boats. These innovative watercraft will compete in seven different categories, and one will walk away with the Best in Show milk can trophy. Take part in a community tradition that dates back to 1973!
