In North Fairview, just off I-84 East at the Blue Lake National Discovery, you and the family can learn the quirky workings of the world around us. Find out how worms help plants thrive, how fungi can fertilize soil and how other wild creatures can help your garden flourish! Get Outdoors Day and Brigade Encampment

In honor of Get Outdoors Day, the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site will be hosting a celebratory event that promotes health, staying active and pure outdoor joy! Some of the fun activities they have planned are rock climbing, a Find Your Park challenge, a  bicycle course and much more. This history demonstration gives visitors a chance to learn about the rugged lifestyles of our ancestors past. Free, nps.gov
