3 Days of Aloha in the Pacific Northwest

The biggest Hawaiian festival in the Portland Metro area! Ke Kukui Foundation presents the 15th annual 3 Days of Aloha! *Featuring:
Days 1 and 2- Hawaiian workshops, pa’ina, Hapa Haole Hula Competition, Free movie in the park.
Day 3- 5K Aloha Run, Food/Arts & Craft vendors, hula, music, raffles, and so much more…
Days 2 & 3 will be held at Esther Short Park, Vancouver WA. July 27-29, free.

 

Washington County Fair

The BIG FAIR FUN of the 2017 Washington County Fair comes your way July 27-30 at the Washington County Fair Complex in Hillsboro! Food, music, rides, and all the fair fun that you remember from your own childhood! Free entry, events and activities are individually priced.

Back to School Book Fair

Join the Black Parent Initiative for a cultural literacy event! There will be a story time with local authors; special guest appearances by Nikki Brown Clown and Blaze, the Portland Trailblazers mascot; food; facepainting; giveaways and STEM activities. July 29th 10am-3pm, Clackamas Barnes & Noble, free.

 

Portlandia Mermaid Parade

The Portlandia Mermaid Parade is a FREE, grassroots, artistic event aimed at celebrating our community connection to Portland’s rivers, port history as well as celebrating all things mermaid and water myth related. The name ‘Portlandia’ is in honor of the river goddess sculpture created by Raymond Kaskey, currently located above the entrance of the Portland Building located in downtown PDX. Portlandia is the second-largest copper repousse’ statue in the United States, after the Statue of Liberty. 12-4pm, Japanese American Historical Plaza, free.

Montavilla Street Fair

6th Annual full street closure Montavilla Street Fair will be July 30, 2017! SE Stark Street between SE 82nd and SE 76th will be closed to car traffic for music, games, vendors, shopping, fun and so much more! Come celebrate the beautiful Montavilla District! 11am-5pm, free.
