Spanish Niño Time
Spanish Niño Time was created to give families in the PDX area an opportunity to let their children engage in play in a community-based, Spanish-speaking environment. Whether Spanish is your first or second language or you’re looking to expose your little one to a different language, Spanish Niño Time is perfect for all of the above. Kiddos will be exposed to español through song, play, rhyming and reading books out loud. The best part? They meet every Friday! $5 per family, meetup.com

Sensory Friendly Concert
Music is powerful and healing, but for some of us, the live music experience can be a little overwhelming. That’s why this weekend, Marylhurst Chamber Choir and Portland Wind Symphony are partnering up to offer the community a Sensory Friendly Concert. Classical and popular works will be performed by both choir and band, in a comfortable and non-judgmental space. The lights will be on, the volume low and sound levels consistent. Audience members will be free to get up and move about, and Marylhurst music therapy students will be on hand to offer support if needed. After the concert, the students will conduct a musical petting zoo for the kiddos and talk about music therapy. Free, events.marylhurst.edu
