African American Read-In
February is Black History Month, and while good literature is good all year round, it’s a great time to explore and share our favorite works by African American authors. North Portland Library will be hosting this read-in, where community leaders, teachers, students and local celebrities will share their favorite books, poems and stories by black authors. Both fiction and non-fiction for children, teens and adults will be shared, and community members are encouraged to bring in their own favorite works. Free, multcolib.org
