Ladybug Hike
Get your tiny tots out on a Ladybug Nature Walk! You and your little one will be guided by a Preschool Naturalist through Portland’s natural areas to learn all about magical Mother Nature. Each little explorer will receive a ladybug backpack (adorable!) filled with tools to help them fully engage in each activity. Portland Children’s Museum’s Family Field Day is this Friday at the ever lovely Washington Park. Get everyone up and out for a day full of fun and games and physical activity! Test your monkeying skills climbing the trees, build new friendships playing giant parachute games, create a victory medal, and so much more. Reading in the Wild
How do you make reading even more exciting? Take it outside! Head to Vancouver’s Water Resources Education Center for an outdoor reading adventure that connects fun stories with the wonder of nature. Providence Bridge Pedal
Gather this Sunday for the 21st annual celebration of two things that are distinctly Portland: cycling and the Willamette River Bridges. Gather up the family and friends and have a scenic ride over Portland’s bridges, including the car-free upper decks of the Fremont and Marquam Bridges. And if you’re not feeling up for biking, walkers are invited to Providence Stride, a walk across the bridges, including Fremont Bridge. Free, providence.org/bridge-pedal

Experience Mexica Tiahui Aztec Dance
Formed in 1995 by Mexican and Chicano students at OSU, Mexica Tiahui is the first Aztec dance group in the Northwest. Their mission is to preserve, teach, and study traditional Mexican history, customs and philosophies.
