35th Annual Astoria Warrenton Crab, Seafood & Wine Festival

Clouds got you feeling a little crabby? Then get your crew in the car and head to the Crab, Seafood and Wine Festival in Clatsop County! Celebración de mi Gente

Clark College invites you to this celebration of family, children and literacy. Each year, Clark college hosts Celebración de mi Gente (Celebration of my People) on or around the Mexican holiday of Día del Niño (Day of the Child), which is the same day that the American Library Association recognizes as Día del Libro (Day of the Book). Oublié — Secrets of the Music Box

Take part in the wonder of Pendulum Aerial Arts’ 27th original production, Oublié. Pendulum Aerial Arts is a troupe of talented aerial artists disciplined in the ways of defying gravity and inspiring awe. Oublié tells the story of Anastasia and her memories, hidden in a music box. Travel with her to a Grand Ball, escaping a villain along the way. This group of intermediate, professional and junior company performers will delight you and your family with this performance! Orphans

The third studio production of the OCT Young Professionals’ season, Orphans is a Tony-nominated show about a pair of siblings, a strange kidnapping and humor and suspense along the way. Cast and tech are local theater students who have been selected to participate in the Young Professionals advanced theater training and professional development program – totally inspiring! $10, octc.org/orphans

Wulapalooza

In honor of Earth Day, community and general awesomeness, Willamette University is hosting the 19th Annual Wulapalooza Festival. Local schools, businesses, clubs, organizations, performance groups and professional bands will all join forces to put together this powerhouse of an event, entertaining the crowds as well as fund-raising for several worthy causes. The festivities will begin at 12 pm this year, with student acts, games and food kicking things off. Student performances will start at 1 pm, and then at 5:30 the main stage will open for the headliners. Don’t miss this fantastic, totally free Earth Day celebration! Free, willamette.edu

Oregon Ag Fest

In this day and age, it’s becoming increasingly important for us all to maintain a connection to the foods we eat and where they come from. Enter: Oregon Ag Fest! This long-running, two day festival is packed with super fun, educational activities for you and the kiddos. Gain a better understanding of where your “food, fiber and flora” come from through over 25 hands-on learning opportunities.
