Portland’s Faith-Based Schools

As you know, Portland Metro is known for its vast array of education choices. From Montessori to STEM, we have it all! Here is a quick look at some of the faith-based options in the area.

Christ the King Catholic School

“Christ the King School is a Catholic faith and academic community serving the students and families of Christ the King parish and surrounding communities. We strive to develop God’s gifts in our students, faculty, and others, working in cooperation and mutual respect with humility and compassion. We live the teachings of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and His Holy Catholic Church, demonstrating our faith in action through prayer and our care and service for one another.” K-8th Grade, ctkweb.org

Islamic School of Portland

“Education is so very important to us here at the Islamic School of Portland. We strive for excellence and student success on all levels. Not only is education our priority, but maintaining an Islamic community is KEY when it comes to understanding how we can inspire our children to contribute back as practicing Muslims not only to our communities and society, but to all of humanity. Our families here at ISP come from many different cultural and educational backgrounds in which we use as an advantage towards a more diverse approach to individual achievements. ISP in itself is a family. As a family, we work together as a unit, helping, encouraging, and motivating each other…no one gets left behind.” PreK-8th Grade, ispdx.org

Portland Jewish Academy

“As a Jewish day school, we strive to ensure an academically rich environment which honors the whole child. Portland Jewish Academy nurtures and inspires Jewish engagement, kavod/respect, and responsibility for the world in which we live.” Infant-8th grade, pjaproud.org
