We love animals, kids and school picture day. So, when we found Beat Up Creations, we were pretty excited. Los Angeles based artist Angela Rosetti is a self-taught artist that works with recycled, abused, broken and forgotten items creating altered antique plates, raw assemblage sculptures and mixed media portraits. Her “recreations” make us laugh and our kids love them, too. Our cover model, Johnny, is a pretty sweet young calf with a killer sense of style, and we couldn’t resist featuring him on the Back to School issue cover this year! Here’s to a great 2015-16 school year for Johnny and all of your kids.
