Last Minute Valentine’s Day Craft
Procrastinators unite! Looking for a last minute Valentine’s Day craft for the kiddos? We’ve got you covered!
Homemade Scented Playdough Recipe:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1/3 cup salt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- food coloring of your choice
- 1 packet of Cherry Kool Aid (or other powdered beverage)
Directions:
- Mix together all the ingredients, except the food coloring, in a saucepan.
- Cook over low/medium heat, stirring. Once it begins to thicken, add your food coloring.
- Keep stirring until the mixture is begins to thicken
- Add Kool Aid packet
- Remove the dough and allow to cool wax/parchment paper or plate to cool
Voila! You could get even MORE crafty and place in individual containers with labels to give as Valentines!
