HUB’s Bike Bar offers both adult and family-friendly sections with an expansive play area for the little ones, outside seating and a diverse selection of house-brewed beers.

Out of eight total locations in Portland, Flying Elephants at Fox Tower and Elephants in the Park (EIP) are two family favorites. They nest around Director Park and its beautifully crafted water fountain that is perfect for the young ones on a hot day.

Residing in the heart of Multnomah Village in SW Portland, Journeys flashes all the signs of a family-friendly, small-town neighborhood bar: a welcoming atmosphere, a smoke-free pub and a happy hour that will knock your socks into next week. Their menu offers eight different microbrews on draft, as well as cider, a multitude of outstanding wines by the glass and a tapas-like, mouth-watering food menu. During happy hour, wines are a dollar off and there are always at least two draft beers on special.

The Poa Café is one of the healthiest and most refreshing spots in the city. It could even be coined the “Epitome of Portland” if there was such a thing. With gluten-free, vegan and paleo options, along with patio seating and a kid play area, the Poa Cafe gives the true meaning to the phrase “family-friendly.” With $4 glasses of wine and $5 cocktails, what’s not to love?
