Halloween Ball

Come One, Come All to the Halloween Ball! The fun kicks off with a costume parade in The Grand Lobby, followed by an interactive live story time. Then it’s time for a splendiferous dance party and enchanting sing-a-long! Don’t forget to save room for scary delicious Halloween treats at concessions.

October 12 – 27, Saturdays and Sundays 12:30pm & 3:15pm, $12 (ages 1+)

Fall Fest at Triskelee Farm

Enjoy fall activities in their covered space! They’ll have a trick or treat walk, bounce house, games, pumpkin decorating, food & drinks! Arrive between 10am & 3pm (2pm on Sundays). Only one trick or treat walk per child. Food (burgers) and drink (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) will be available for purchase. $15 for ages 2-12 (adults and carried infants are free)

Hocus Pocus at PAM’s Tomorrow Theater

After 300 years of slumber, three sister witches are accidentally resurrected in Salem on Halloween night, and it is up to three kids and their newfound feline friend to put an end to the witches’ reign of terror once and for all. 4-6pm, $5

Howloween at The Oregon Zoo

Costumed trick-or-treaters can learn about healthy habitats for wildlife with engaging activities throughout the zoo. Bring your treat bags and join the trail of activities! Live entertainment – including magic shows, puppet shows and more – will be taking place both weekends. In keeping with the zoo’s mission, all the treats come from companies committed to using deforestation-free palm oil. Activities are best suited for children ages 2-10, but all are welcome. Free with general zoo admission

Pumpkin Display at West Linn

Created in 2017 with just 60 pumpkins and 60 friends and neighbors attending, The Pumpkin Display at West Linn has grown to over 200 pumpkins with nearly 2,000 people attending in 2021. In addition to some of the most intricately carved pumpkins in the Portland, OR area, the display features an elaborate laser and concert-like light show. The display is a kid-friendly alternative to haunted houses and graveyard-themed displays. 5-9:30pm, Free

Boo Bash 2024 in Camas

Bring the whole family down for some Downtown Camas trick or treating. Local businesses give out candy or neat Halloween prizes to all the kiddos. Seeing all the kids (and many parents, too!) dressed in costume is exceptionally fun. Always a few surprises as well! 3-5pm, Free

Dracula Re-Vamped Puppet Show 

Join Dragon Theater Puppets for some spooky fun! Dracula’s wife gets eaten by the neighbors. But when her head gets donated to Dr. Frankenstein, all the monsters fall in love with the new Bride monster created. Alas, she wants nothing to do with them. However, love does find its way to even the strangest of hearts. A wacky monster mash of a show at the Hillsdale Library.

2024 Roseway Parkway Halloween Costume Parade

Gather on the southernmost greenspace of the Roseway Parkway at NE 72nd & Sandy. After the Grand Marshal gives announcements and guidelines, they will start the parade at 2pm. Head north to NE Prescott and then loop back. Pro-tip: Bring a treat bag! Participating neighbors give candy during the parade (Please only approach homes that are clearly participating. Some neighbors do not participate.) 2-4:30pm, Free

Halloween Pumpkin Hunt With Bluey

Head to DiG PDX for a spooktacular Halloween event. Meet Bluey, all dressed up as a friendly witch for the occasion! The fun kicks off with a Pumpkin Hunt in the sand, where kids can dig up pumpkins and candy corn. Keep an eye out for a special golden pumpkin in the sand —finding it will earn you an extra surprise! Each child will trade in their pumpkin hunt treasures for a goodie bag filled with trinkets and treats. Bluey will make a special appearance for a fun photo op. They’ll end the play session with a refreshing popsicle to enjoy! Ages 2-6. 2:30-3:30pm, $35/child
