Havurah Shalom Shabbat School
Havurah Shalom's Shabbat School is for children in grades K-6. It meets approximately 17 Saturday afternoons throughout the school year from 3 to 5:15 pm. With the direction and support of Havurah's education staff, parents work together in teams to plan and implement the curriculum and community building activities for their child’s grade. Each teaching team is responsible for planning and implementing four sessions.
In addition to giving children a basis for Jewish learning, Shabbat School fosters a strong
sense of community among families. Parents feel that the Shabbat School experience
enhances their own connection to Jewish life and learning. Visit the Shabbat School page on Havurah Shalom's website to learn more.
Havurah Shalom is currently planning for the 2022-23 school year. April 18 is the deadline to become a Havurah Shalom member so you can enroll your child in Shabbat School by the May 1 enrollment deadline. Please contact Deborah Eisenbach-Budner at deborah@havurahshalom.org as soon as possible if you are seriously considering enrollment, as Shabbat School staff will meet with all families interested in Shabbat School before March 31. Enrollment in Shabbat School is not available after August 1 for the 2022-23 school year.
