Clowns Without Borders
Give clowns a chance to prove they’re not so terrifying (eek) and are actually quite adept and beautiful at this benefit show, complete with juggling, acrobatics, live music and all sorts of clowny things. In its first year, this glimmering, glowing celebration of light and art is sure to become a family favorite (and a great way to liven up the doldrums of what feels like the 6th month of winter, amiright?). Portland’s First International Children’s Film Festival
Start grooming your petite film connoisseurs early! A wonderful selection of short films, Animated (recommended for kids 3+) and Live Action (recommended for kids 8+) that kids can vote as favorites, as well as info booths with local filmmakers and screenwriters.
