Summer is just around the corner and now is the time to sign up for summer camp! We’ve rounded up all of the best camps in the area; from sports to art and everything in-between. If you’re still having trouble deciding, come to our 2022 Summer Camp Expo on April 23rd and find out everything else you need to know to make your kids’ summer the very best yet!
ACADEMIC
PJA Summer Discovery
PJA’s Summer Discovery program offers enriching classes from experienced, passionate, professional teachers who incorporate STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) to enhance learning in a fun and nurturing way.
ARTS/CRAFTS
Art World School
Half day and full day camp options from 6/27 – 9/9 with 6 different art classes daily. Fine Art drawing/painting, clay, arts and crafts, mixed media, 3D art, and calligraphy). Different weekly themes for ages 4 -14.
Camp PDX
Outdoor arts camp. Each week campers have a different theme – from goats & yoga, various arts, crafts & outdoor skills to water fun, music making & archery. They stress the beauty of independence & combine the art of cooperation with the focus on fun.
One River School of Art + Design

Tucker Arts Camp
Tucker Arts Camp travels the world! Over the course of eight weeks, children in preschool through grade 5 explore the art of storytelling through music, visual arts & culture from diverse countries around the world at their beautiful SE Portland campus.
Willowbrook Arts Camp
June 27 – August 5. Join Willowbrook for their 40th summer! Step outside to explore. They offer a multi-aged, child-driven experience in visual, performing, literary and textile arts, and nature in Brown’s Ferry Park.
DANCE, GYMNASTICS & ACTIVE PLAY
Bodyvox
Each student will work with a BodyVox teaching artist to dance, expand their imagination, and move their body. They will explore the connections between dance, rhythm, music and creativity.
OMEGA Gymnastics
OMEGA’s Summer Camps keep your kids active with supervised play, gymnastics instruction, and craft. Choose half day or full day weekly options.
Play.Fit.Fun

Polaris Dance Theatre
Polaris Dance Theatre is offering in-person camps all summer long for students ages 3-16. Camps will incorporate several dance disciplines including Ballet, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Aerial, Jazz, and more. Child care options will be available.
The Movement Park
Experience the ultimate FUN at Parkour Camp! Climb through parkour obstacles exploring fictional worlds and storylines, work with new friends to conquer missions & challenges, and enjoy the “Best Day Ever”! Ages 5-11
GENERAL
Adventure Camp
Join in for 9 weeks of themed day camps for kids in K – 5th Grade. Each week features field trips, art & cooking projects, water slides, outdoor games on their 26 acre campus, and much more! Adventure Camp is a program by Southwest Bible Church.
Aim High Academy of Martial Arts

Catlin Gabel School
Catlin Gabel welcomes students from preschool to high school to their 67-acre wooded campus. Weekly camps run from June 27 to August 17 and offerings include academics, technology, sports, music, arts, and day camps.
Cedarwood Waldorf School
Bring some Cedarwood magic into your summer! Cedarwood’s camps are filled with crafting, storytelling, outdoor adventure, and plenty of time for play as campers explore the season of summer together.
Girls Rock Empowerment Camp
For 6th-8th grade. Activities include games, crafts, discussion, guided visualization- designed to help girls learn more about themselves and develop courage and compassion while creating community. Limited to 10 campers Aug.8-12th, 10am-2pm.
International Leadership Academy
June 27-Aug 19 Arts and Craft, Soccer, Yoga, Movie, Baking, Spanish and much more. Sing, Play, Explore, Learn. Open to all. Camp hours 9am-3pm. 7:30am early care (free). Lunches are prepared by their own chef and snacks are included. $385/week
MJCC Summer Day Camp

North Clackamas Parks & Recreation
NCPRD offers a wide variety of affordable day camps to keep kids of all ages active, learning and having fun all summer long. Choose from science, nature, dance, horseback riding, theater, science, sports and more.
Oregon Episcopal School
OES is excited to bring back all in-person camps for ages 4-17, expanded hours 8 a.m.-6 p.m. More variety than ever before. Offerings include River Runners, Rock Climbing, Dungeons & Dragons, Outdoor Exploration, Fencing, Leadership, and more!
Steve & Kate’s Camp
Campers choose minute to minute from a variety of activities including, sewing, stop-motion animation, music, sports & recreation, makers crafts, baking, and more. They’ll decide what they want to do, and for how long.
The Gardner School of Arts & Sciences
The Gardner School’s summer camp program is returning to their 5 acre campus in Vancouver! Class offerings will include lots of outdoor play, exploring the wetlands, and being hands-on and creative. Check their website for summer camps to be posted soon!

Packed with playfulness, positivity and fun, these yoga camps include a wonderful mix of poses and movement, games, mindfulness, creativity, nature exploration and art. Join them!

Alpengirl is an overnight summer adventure camp for girls ages 11-16. Their 1-2 week outdoor camps are multi-adventure and include a variety of adventure activities such as backpacking, horseback riding, rafting, sea kayaking, rock climbing and more!
Portland Audubon
Join Portland Audubon for nature-based adventures all summer long! Camps combine art, science experiments and games with explorations of their beautiful, 172-acre Nature Sanctuary neighboring Forest Park and adventures all over the Pacific Northwest.

Infinity Golf is offering13 weeks of 5 day Summer Camps for ages 8 – 17. They use a fun and engaging method for rapidly improving your child’s golf skills using games, contests, and points mixed with hands-on instruction and video swing analysis. Their simulators speed improvement with precisely measured swing and ball data. Kids are grouped by age and skill level.
Portland Rock Gym
Camps include games, technique instruction and a lot of climbing! Campers as young as 8 will also experience slack-line, rope-swing and a huge cargo net. Kids aged 10-15 will head outside to climb around the greater Portland area once a week!
